Speaking of ingredients, Peace Out infused its new at-home patches with a wrinkle-reducing cocktail of retinol, peptides, and vitamin C, all of which work to boost collagen and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles after just a few uses, as well as over time.
Aptly called Peace Out Wrinkles, these band-aid-like patches feature 450 self-dissolving hyaluronic acid microneedles, which allow its powerhouse ingredients to penetrate the skin more aggressively and thereby work better.
Cosmetic chemist Ginger King previously told Allure: "For actives to work, enhanced penetration is important. " This is precisely why microneedling patches can be so efficacious, as they enable ingredients to get deeper into the skin and work their best.
It doesn't stop there, either: Another brand that uses microneedling technology in its skin-care products is Acropass, a K-beauty company that created patches called Trouble Cure to address cystic acne.
Peace Out, aka the brand behind some of our favorite pimple-fighting products, just launched its latest skin-care patch innovation for fine lines and wrinkles.
Additionally, 95 percent of folks said the patches didn't leave their skin feeling sensitive or irritated, which can often be the case with certain retinol products, as well as with microneedling.
Earlier this year, it launched Peace Out Dark Spots, which are hyperpigmentation-fading patches that use microneedles to create tiny pathways within the skin for better ingredient absorption and more effective results.
The new skin-care stickers use the power of microneedling to work their magic. https://t.co/qn9wfTs21u— Allure (@Allure_magazine) December 15, 2019
