According to Women's Wear Daily, The Estée Lauder Companies announced on Monday, March 23, that it will begin contributing to the efforts to relieve the hand-sanitizer shortage that poses an enormous problem to those working in healthcare. "The Estée Lauder Companies is proud to contribute to the broader COVID-19 relief efforts by reopening our Melville manufacturing facility this week to produce hand sanitizer for high-need groups and populations, including front-line medical staff," the statement reads, referring to its factory in Long Island, New York.
