The skin care brand behind the popular Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is celebrating Pride Month with a philanthropic partnership and $100,000 donation to The Trevor Project, the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.
For Pride Month this year, MJ's eponymous beauty label is making two $10,000 donations, respectively, to Le Refuge, a French organization that supports LGBTQ+ youth, and Sage, an organization that helps older members of the LGBTQ+ community, and launching five new shades of its Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick (in a sleek rainbow-print packaging, might we add).
In addition to donating $75,000 from its “All Types of Love” Pride collection, the legacy sneaker brand teamed up with LGBTQ+ activists and influencers to tell their stories in a special campaign, titled "Proud Notes. " Meet the crew in this touching video as they read out letters from loved ones.
From graphic tees and hoodies to colorful pool slides, the activewear brand has committed to donating 20% of the proceeds with a maximum donation of $250,000 from the sales of this collection to the Cara Delevingne Foundation, which supports a number of LGBTQIA+ charities, including GLAAD, The Trevor Project, and Mind Out.
The brand is donating 100% of the proceeds with a maximum donation of $75,000 to support GLSEN, an organization working to create safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ+ students.
