For the first time in the event's history, Taggar has announced The Virtual Makeup Show, a way for those in the beauty industry — like makeup artists, buyers, and brand owners — to safely attend (read: tune in) from wherever they may be and enjoy the community, trends, tips, and more of what they've come to expect and love from the in-person Makeup Shows that usually take place in convention centers across the country. "It's been a hard time for our industry during COVID-19," Taggar said in a statement. "Since this time makes it difficult to connect, we wanted to find a way to be with our community and support the brands, sponsors, and artists in providing an experience like we have always done, even if it's in a virtual experience. From 10 a. m. to 6 p. m.
Attendees with also be able to attend live brand demos and video chats with owners and representatives from 1:30 to 3:30 p. m. both days; however, ticket holders will be able to shop these brands — including Pacifica, Kevyn Aucoin, Bioderma, Stila, and Anastasia Beverly Hills — throughout the entire span of the two-day event. "I think this will be an amazing virtual event," Taggar said, "and I know the beauty community will join us in supporting the show.
After postponement and cancellations, the beloved beauty-industry show will go on — online. https://t.co/0f0pvTEYye— Allure (@Allure_magazine) July 30, 2020
