Per Variety, “the untitled comedy series is described as a baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny-sunglasses-wearing, oat-milk-latte- and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong number two Dionne steps into Cher’s vacant Air Jordans.

The original Clueless, which also starred Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, and Brittany Murphy, followed the life of a spoiled but sweet California rich girl who befriends a new student named Tai Frasier and decides to give her a complete makeover.

A Clueless television series focused on Dionne Davenport is in the works at Peacock, NBCUniversal's new premium video streaming service.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the beloved 1995 cult classic will be developed into a comedy that will center around Cher Horowitz’s lifelong best friend (originally played by Stacey Dash).

The synopsis continues, “How does Dionne deal with the pressures of being the new most popular girl in school, while also unraveling the mystery of what happened to her best friend?
